Bergesen takes new heat exchangers on-board

Norwegian ship owner Bergesen has accumulated six months of experience using a novel reliquefaction plant on one of its latest LPG ships, Berge Danuta. The 78,500 m~3 ship was delivered last October and is noteworthy because, unlike other LPGs, it has been equipped with a reliquefaction plant that uses plate-type heat exchangers rather than conventional shell and tube condensers.
