Cue the ships at Oz ports

Queues are again forming in Australian bulk ports. Yes, an extra berth has joined the action in Port in Oz, but all four ports are still working flat out. A snapshot of ports in Oz at the end of last week would reveal 11 large Capesize and two Panamax bulk carriers either alongside loading or awaiting a berth. More than half those within port limits are destined for China. An extra berth at Parker Point has now been brought into play in Dampier. There is a waiting time of one to three days at these three berths. There are two berths at Port Walcott/Cape Lambert with a steady stream of vessels.
