Singapore's credentials as an international maritime centre are showcased during its Maritime Week, with its slogan of 'People, Ideas and Opportunities'. Driven by the Maritime and Port Authority, the week's highlights include the 5th Singapore Maritime Lecture, the International Chemical and Oil Pollution Conference and Exhibition (including an interactive spill simulation role play and international case studies), the International Maritime Port Technology and Development Conference and the Singapore International Maritime Awards - all organised by the MPA.
