Finance lawyer becomes partner

London law firm Watson, Farley & Williams has promoted a new partner to its asset finance team in London. Kavita Shah specialises in international finance. Her expertise includes ship finance, structured and project finance, acting for a number of financial institutions and international corporations as well as shipping companies. She recently advised a consortium of eight banks on a $700M seven-year term loan and revolving credit facility to Sovcomflot, the Russian energy shipping company.
