All-in-one clean-up kit launched

Wilhelmsen Ships Service has developed a cargo-hold cleaning kit aimed at speeding up port turn-rounds after discharge of bulk carriers. A 550-litre container holds all of the equipment necessary for cleaning and preparing cargo hold surfaces. It includes extendable lances and pressure tanks that allow crew or shore workers to clean cargo holds rapidly without the use of scaffolding or cranes, and with the minimum of materials.
