The Assembly of European Regions (AER) is teaming up with GE Energy to launch European Regions Energy Day, which will be held annually in Brussels from the end of April 2010. This yearly event will bring together regional decision makers and European energy experts to review the energy challenges being faced by the European regions and to promote solutions. "GE offers the full portfolio of energy and infrastructure solutions allowing it to make recommendations to the regions based on every technological energy solution available today - be it coal, oil, green energy sources, natural gas or nuclear energy," the AER explained, on 26 May.
