New recovery plan for northern hake

With its adoption, on 17 March, of a draft regulation establishing a new long-term plan to improve the state of the northern hake stock in EU waters, the European Commission hopes to bring this stock up to its maximum sustainable yield (MSY), ie the level allowing the largest catch to be taken without diminishing the stock's numbers.
