The European Commission referred France to the EU Court of Justice, on 24 November, for non-compliance with EU law on harmonised authorisation procedures for veterinary medicines.rnThe case concerns the French author ities' refusal to process applications for marketing authorisation for two veteri nary medicinal products, which prevents scientific evaluation of the products.rnFrance is also in the Commission's sights in connection with scrapie con trol.
