摘要

Transport accounts for around a quarter of total greenhouse gas emissions in the European Union, and the constant expansion of this sector preoccupies experts. The European Environment Agency (EEA) released, on 27 April, its annual Transport and Environment Reporting Mechanism (TERM) report. It stresses that while some improvements have been made in the transport sector in terms of air pollutants, serious concerns remain regarding the persistent growth in greenhouse gas emissions and noise pollution.
