The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing a €125 million loan to Corporation Gestamp S.L. in support of its research, development and innovation activities. The project consists of two parts: firstly, RDI activities for automotive metal applications designed to further improve the fuel efficiency and safety of vehicles. Secondly, investments in technology implementation for enhanced productivity and energy efficiency located in the promoter's plants in convergence regions in Hungary, Slovakia and Turkey, and the construction of new plants in the Czech Republic and Romania.
