'The renewables target should be scrapped'

Co-author of the 'Energy road map 2050' adopted by the European Commission in 2011, Claude Mandil, former head of the Institut Frangais du Petrole and former executive director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), is campaigning for a single target in the 2030 strategy in Europe and for shale gas in France. Europolitics Environment talked to Mandil outside the 15th International Oil Summit, on 11 April in Paris.
