Commission gives in: Political agreement reached on EMFF

The Greek EU Presidency has its first feather in its cap: on 28 January, the Council, Parliament and European Commission reached political agreement on the new European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF). This regulation is the third and last text aimed at solidifying the reform of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) and sets out rules on Structural Funds not yet adopted under the EU's multiannual financial framework for the period 2014-2020.
