We hypothesized that assessment of myocardial sympathetic activity with no-carrier-added (nca) 123I-meta-iodobenzylguanidine (MIBG) compared to carrier-added (ca) 123I-MIBG would lead to an improvement of clinical performance without major differences in radiation dosimetry.
