摘要

The importance of anti-windup compensation in control systems with saturations has long been recognized in applications. However, recently attention has been directed to analysis of such compensators from a rigorous mathematical viewpoint. In this paper a performance criterion is derived in terms of a frequency domain inequality for the anti-windup compensator filter. In particular, the criterion shows why a low order anti-windup filter is often sufficient.
