Leading the way to the COP 15 talks, Euroheat & Power, the International District Energy Association, Dansk Fjernvarme and the Danish Board of District Heating organised the District Energy Climate Summit. The aim was to introduce the benefits of district energy to government representatives, policy leaders and environmentalists and invite them to experience first-hand how district energy can deliver higher efficiency, greater fuel flexibility and more sustainability (page 26).
