Eyerbright International Secures Biomass Cogeneration Plant in China

China Everbright International Limited headquartered in Hong Kong, has signed an investment agreement for a biomass combustion cogeneration project in Xinyi City with the Xinyi Municipal Government in Jiangsu Province. The Xinyi Straw Project has a total investment cost of approximately RMB$338 million (about €36 million) and a designed daily processing capacity of 8001 or an annual capacity of 260,0001 It willrnbe equipped with two 15 MW electricity generators and is expected to commence commercial operation in 2012. Xinyi City is a major county famous for its agricultural production in Jiangsu Province.
