Utilising »Green« CO_2 from Biogas

There is a growing trend towards the use of CO_2 from biomethane plants - especially in Great Britain and the Netherlands. In Augsburg, Germany, where a CO_2 liquefaction plant has been in operation for three years, they are currently looking for a way to use the CO_2. For organic waste biogas plants such as the one in Augsburg, the potential impurities can however cause problems. Now there is a specific European gas standard for CO_2 from biogas that responds to this.
