The energy share of water heating has an increasing significance for a building's overall energy consumption. New demands in cold metering add additional expectations to the market for metering solutions. In order to achieve the goal of more efficient energy consumption and greater transparency for the end consumer, the energy volume for water heating and cooling needs to be recorded ever more precisely. Both, heat and cold metering, especially contribute to a further growth in the global market for ultrasonic water meters, which are capable to reach the mentioned goals.
