The Burggraf-Bernsdorf gas storage of Ver-bundnetz Gas AG, constructed by using of an abandonend potash mine and in operation since 1970, is a special case regarding the subsurface facilities. In the last few years some measures and recompletions were plannend and carried out with the objective of a long term and safe storage operation. The unusual technical and local conditions by the existing shafts had to be considered in particular. As a result of these works there is a gas production completion corresponding to a present state of gas cavern well.%Der Gasspeicher im stillgelegten Kalisalzbergwerk Burggraf-Bernsdorf, den die Verbundnetz Gas AG seit 1970 betreibt, stellt einen Sonderfall hinsichtlich der Untertageanlage dar. Für die langfristige Fortsetzung des Speicherbetriebes wurden zuletzt einige Arbeiten und Rekomplettierungen unter Beachtung der außergewöhnlichen technischen Bedingungen und der Lokationsspezifik der vorhandenen Schächte geplant und durchgeführt. Im Ergebnis liegt eine Gasförderkomplettierung vergleichbar zum heutigen Stand einer Gaskavernenbohrung vor.
