ISO 14000 IT Software Transfer from Europe to Thailand: Issues To Be Addressed

In this article, we report on a study conducted as part of the Asia Information Technology and Communication (IT&C) Force project managed by the Fraunhofer Institute. The study examined possible reasons for an observed reticence on the part of organizations in Thailand to accept information technology (IT) and decision support systems (DSS) that have been proven in the European market to be instrumental in obtaining certification to ISO 14000, the international environmental management standard.
