Managing Green Product Development With an Integrated EMS Framework

In order to meet the growing environmental demands of the global community, companies will find it valuable to adopt an integrated approach to developing and managing green products within the context of an EMS. Such an approach can help companies comply with key environmental requirements, including the European Union's RoHS and REACH mandates. The study discussed here, which was initiated by a cooperative program supported by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan, has aimed to develop an integrated EMS that emphasizes green product development capability in the supply chain.
