The following conclusions could be drawn from the results of the study: 1. The regression analysis and the descriptive statistics revealing model performance indicated that the predictions of NO_3-N, NH_4-N, and PO_4-P concentrations by the HYDRUS-1D model were quite good. 2. From the simulation of temporal variation of solute, a close agreement was found between the measured and predicted results of NO_3-N, NH_4-N, and PO_4-P concentrations at all soil depths during the full crop experiment.
