Regional Sustainability Partnerships: What They Are - and How to Start a Successful One

In the past decade, sustainability has been embraced by many individuals and organizations in the United States and throughout the world. However, while sustainability efforts at the individual and organizational levels are essential, they are not by themselves sufficient to achieve sustainable development at the greater societal level. Instead, we believe that sustainable development efforts must go beyond individual efforts and organizational boundaries to include involvement not only within an industry, but also across and between different sectors of society (e.g., business, government, education, nongovernmental organizations, and communities of faith).
