摘要

SIWW has complex characteristics, and its treatment is considered a challenge for environmental engineers. Treating SIWW is crucial not only for the environment but also for the purpose of recycling water for use in industrial processes. We concluded that the EC method is very effective for the treatment of SIWW. Furthermore, treatment using iron electrodes was found to be more effective for removing COD and color and more cost effective than treatment using aluminum electrodes. By using an iron electrode at a pH of 6, with an electrode distance of 20 mm, and a CD of 156 A/m2, COD was reduced by 82% and color by 84%.
