Environmentalism, resistance, and solidarity: the politics of Friends of the Earth International

This welcome addition to the growing body of scholarship about international- and national-level environmental movement organisations reports findings from a decade-long study of Friends of the Earth (FoE), the largest international environmental organisation. It rests on questionnaires completed by most FoE national groups, observations of international FoE meetings, and interviews with chapter leaders and international staff. It provides a wealth of useful information about FoE's history, member organisations, finances, formal and informal structure, and operations.
