Companies that engage in large-scale use of regulated pesticides might be attracted to the idea of obtaining detailed labeling information online rather than off the pesticide label itself.rnTo explore the possibility of Web-distributed labeling, EPA has invited stakeholders to participate in a user acceptance pilot.rnAccording to EPA, Web-distributed labeling has the potential to improve compliance with use instructions by making pesticide labels easier to read and comprehend.rnFor example, the approach would pro-vide instructions only for the location and intended use the pesticide user specifies online.
