The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation and the Alaska Regional Response Team seek public input on the latest version of the Wildlife Protection Guidelines for Oil Spill Response in Alaska, which provide guidance to oil spill planners and responders to minimize impacts to fish and wildlife. The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation seeks comment on its 2018 Draft Integrated Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Report. In the report, the Department proposes a number of changes to existing water body classifications, including identifying healthy waters and removing waters from the impaired list where there are now plans in place or more recent data show the water to be healthy. The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation proposed to reissue an Alaska Pollutant Discharge Elimination System general permit for stormwater discharges associated with industrial activity.
