摘要

The transport, mobility, bioavailability and toxicity of metals in freshwaters can depend to a large extent upon their chemical speciation (Aiken et al., 1996; Tessier and Turner, 1995). It is therefore desirable to have a model which can predict metal speciation chemistry in natural systems. Recently models have begun to take into account the complex interactions of metals with macromolecules, colloids and sus- pended particles present in natural waters. Several approaches have been proposed for modelling such interactions (Logan et al., 1997).
