Robot swimmers keep tabs on fish in a bid to improve marine sanctuaries

A school of autonomous swimming robots has been deployed off the south coast to track fish in a trial that could bring better planning of marine wildlife sanctuaries. Conducted by the National Oceanography Centre at Southampton University, the trial brings together researchers and companies from all over the country in the largest fleet of marine robots ever assembled in the UK.
