摘要

A criticism of Islington's blanket decision to charge all diesel vehicles extra to park is that it does not differentiate between newer cleaner diesels and older polluting ones: it treats them all the same. There's concern too that it could perversely make petrol vehicles more attractive: for cars at least, as no one is suggesting petrol for heavy-duty vehicles such as big trucks and buses.
