Module lifts signal conditioning reliability

High precision position sensor firm Penny & Giles has launched a new Universal Conditioning Module (UCM) that provides reliable signal conditioning for a wide range of analogue inductive transducer types. The module can work with any transducer and can drive four, five or six wire differential linear variable displacement transducers (LVDTs), ratiometric LVDTs and three-wire inductive half bridge transducers. UCM has a low current requirement of less than 10mA and can be linked and synchronised with up to 50 modules in one network for multiple channel measurement systems.
