Welcome to the Autumn 2010 edition of Environmental Education-, we would like to offer our thanks to Andy Simpson at RSPB for generous sponsorship of this edition. Our last letter in the Summer 2010 edition spoke about change and, once again, we find ourselves focussing on this. Our new coalition government has committed itself to being "the greenest government ever", a bold statement to make whilst cutting funding for initiatives such as the Sustainable Schools Strategy, amongst other things. Like many charities at this time, NAEE is having to re-assess priorities and find innovative ways to move forward, in the interest of both our loyal members and our continued aim to promote environmental education across the curriculum and wider in local and national communities.
