While UK-based Environment Analyst estimates the Environmental ConsultancyMarket at about $40 billion, US-based EBI estimates the GlobalEnvironmental Consulting & Engineering market at about $77 billion. Thechart below illustrates EBI’s market size and growth in comparison to EA’s figureon page 36The first distinction is that EBI includes all the engineering design, projectmanagement and construction management and O&M work associated withwater, wastewater, solid waste, air pollution, environmental information andrenewable energy installations and other natural resource and remediation assignmentsthat may not be in the realm of consultancy.
