Rising UK energy wastage could mean stark changes by 2020

The latest independent research commissioned by UK consumer watchdog the Energy Saving Trust (EST) has suggested that everyday life will go back to basics within 15 years unless every consumer acts now to curb personal energy consumption by at least 20%. In 2020 Futures: Energy and Waste in an Age of Excess, an independent study compiled for EST by the Future Laboratory, researchers examine two alternative scenarios for life in 2020.
