MEPs push for five-step waste hierarchy

MEPs are set to call for a five-step hierarchy when they vote on the revision to the waste framework directive on 28 November. This is one of 15 compromise amendments tabled by the rapporteur UK MEP Caroline Jackson (Conservatives) for the environment committee in an attempt to reduce some 622 amendments.
