SMEs call for urgent changes to REACH

Small businesses which rely on the production and use of chemicals to make their products are facing a "complete catastrophe" if the EU Parliament adopts the future EU chemicals legislation REACH (the registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals) as voted for by its environment committee in October, according to representatives of the sector.
