Don't trust all low carbon technologies, says MEP

The term "low-carbon technologies" is a sham, mixing up a range of "virtuous and less virtuous" options, which are not the same in terms of their capacity to tackle climate change, said Italian Green MEP Monica Frassoni, criticising the European Commission's new energy package, on the eve of the conclusions of the High Level Group on Competitiveness, Energy and the Environment (see next story).
