Call to combat WEEE losses

Where does all the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) go? That was the question raised by Johan Zwart, Vice President of the European Electronics Recyclers Association (EERA), at the 3rd annual Agra Informa WEEE conference.rnHe told the 18 September Brussels meeting that a minimum 50 per cent collection target of the volumes put on the market should be set for each member state instead of a 4kg per inhabitant per person goal, too easily reached by some countries but impossible for others.
