No legal certainty in WEEE directive, says Orgalime

The waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) directive does not give enough legal clarity for operators, and is failing in many areas, according to Adrian Harris, head of the main WEEE industry body Orgalime. Mr Harris said that key concerns were the divergences in transposition, the confusion over scope, registration and reporting problems and the data gap.
