Industry plea to Environment Council on climate and SCP

European industry organisation BusinessEurope has appealed to environment ministers ahead of their 20-21 October Council to take competitiveness into account when dealing with climate and the sustainable consumption and production action plan. In a 7 October letter to French ecology and energy minister Jean-Louis Borloo, who as current president will chair the Environment Council, BusinessEurope Scretary General Philippe de Buck writes that he wants to share European companies' views on two important issues - climate and the action plan.
