Climate change to be better communicated, say MEPs

The results of the recent eurobarometer survey prove that even more needs to be done to re-enforce the communication link between politicians and citizens in terms of climate change, said Italian Socialist MEP, Guido Sacconi, during this week's meeting of the European Parliament's Temporary Committee on Climate Change (TCCC). Noting that the wide variations of attitudes towards climate change from one country to the next were mainly due to the quality of the information that is relayed to citizens, MEPs called for climate change to be communicated at all levels.
