Brazil and the Netherlands have agreed to work together to develop sustainable forms of biofuels, the Dutch economy ministry said at the weekend. Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, on a state visit, and Dutch Economy Minister Maria van der Hoeven signed a memorandum of understanding which includes plans to co-operate on sustainable production, logistics and transport of biofuels and to develop other biomass uses.
