European Chemicals Agency publishes 2008 budget

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) budget for 2008 will be €62,619,000, with a small amount coming from fees and charges (E€D3,806,000). Half the budget (E€D33,329,000) goes towards staff salaries and expenses (including training, duty travel and representation expenses). The rest is divided between so called "building, equipment and miscellaneous operating expenditure" (including the rental of buildings, meetings expenditure, telecommunications and computers) with E€D13,077,000.
