France: new takeback system for dental equipment

Recydent is the name of the new takeback system for dental appliances, recently set up by the French dental professionals' association Comident (Comite de Co-ordination des Activites Dentaires). The non-profit system is supported by equipment manufacturers and importers. From 1 April they will pay a recycling fee for every new piece of equipment sold from €5 for small appliances to €330 for larger pieces such as x-ray machines and dental chairs.
