Fead Appoints New President

Italian Carlo Noto La Diega has taken over from Frenchman Pierre Rellet as President of the European Federation of Waste Management and Environmental Services (FEAD), it was announced this week. Born on 21 May 1940 in Ethiopia, Noto La Diega graduated in electronic Engineering from Bologna University in the 1960s and has been working in the environmental and waste sectors ever since. He is Managing Director of two Italian companies: Gesenu SpA, a joint venture waste management company operating in the collection of recyclable waste, urban cleaning services and planning, construction and management of waste management sites and SECIT, a waste management company.
