Negotiations on the revision of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) directive will not start until the next Environment Council in March, a Czech presidency source told EE&PL this week.rnEven if member states reach an "all but formal agreement" on the issue during the Czech presidency, the directive will not be adopted before the end of the year since, legislatively, Council is not able to conclude the dossier until the next European Parliament is elected, he said on 28 January.
