Firms see climate adaptation as opportunity, finds report

Two thirds of businesses now regard climate change and the need for adaptation measures as a commercial opportunity, according to a study released last week. The global survey of 700 top business executives undertaken by the Economist Intelligence Unit on behalf of UK Trade & Investment, also found that 90 per cent of respondents admitted suffering from climate impacts while half of them pointed out that these impacts had increased over the past three years.
