ECHA scientists produce first opinions on REACH restrictions

European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) scientists have produced their first two opinions on proposals to restrict substances under the REACH chemicals regulation. ECHA's Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC) adopted the opinions at its 8-11 March meeting on the two proposals, both from France, to restrict dimethylfumarate (DMFu) in articles and lead and its compounds in jewellery.
