Little backing for a review of EU water policy

Ahead of the European Commission's publication, later this month, of its so-called 'Fitness Check' on water policy, two documents have been published presenting the views of stakeholders on the issue.According to the documents, stakeholders tend to agree that the current EU legal and policy framework for water issues is well designed and is able to address both current and emerging challenges faced by European waters.
