Economic instruments key to more recycling, says Commission

A range of different taxes and bans are the key to boosting recycling in the EU, according to a new report by the European Commission which looks at sharing the more efficient solutions to achieve sustainable waste management.The new 180-page report, published on 16 April and written by consultancy Bio Intelligence Services, explains that combining economic instruments is the best way to turn waste into a resource.
